Power Hammer Shoe

Hey guys, its been a while since i posted
so i thought i would share my newest
toy.

A power hammer shoe for the Massey,
the shoe itself puts a texture along flat bar i am
using for my gate commision.

This is a picture of the finished object,
as you can see it is a large piece
of bar with the texture i want in it
welded into a frame.

This was working well until i tried it then it
bounced around a little too much so i
welded on some screws to keep it
on the hammer.

The screws tighten up to make sure it doesnt move.
I used it a few times
until i started to get a bend into
the large centre peice.
The Massey pallets have a dip in them so
i had to correct that.

I used the fly press to straighten it out then
i welded a little 3mm plate on the bottom.
With this plate it seems to have stopped the
bending problem.

Leafing Hammer

Hey guys, i havent posted here
for a while and i really need to catch up
on this. Got a few things i want
to put up here over the weekend, a little guide
to making a ball stake i made and
working on some repousse.

Till then this is the leafing hammer,
i spoke about it breifly but we were asked to
shaft it and use it on the repousse
work.

This was the first of the hammers i have ever
made up, i have made two since this one which
are alot better than this one.
Other than that i quite like it, its a bit
of History for my first hammer =]
